21st Birthday Party
All of the examples in this section are of our own work, which we hope will give you some inspiration for your event. Looking at past events can help to establish what you like, and don’t like, to develop a clear picture of your requirements. At this stage some people choose to employ a wedding or party planner to bring all of their ideas together into a coherent brief.
Whilst every event is completely bespoke, this section aims to outline how we interpret a brief, the equipment we suggest and a guide to the costs. We try to be clear about what we provided and what was supplied by the client, party planner or other contractors.

Nr Thame, Oxfordshire
21st birthday with a dinner dance for around 130 people. Reception drinks on the upper lawn. A marquee on the lower lawn used for bar, dancing, dining and catering area.
The lawn was on a slope, with two narrow, but long, lawns available for structures.
The upper lawn had twin 6m x 6m pavilions, installed without sides to provide a focal point and wet weather contingency.
On the lower lawn the terrace was only 9m wide. We used a 9m span structure to house the bar, dance floor and dining room. A separate 6m wide structure was used for the kitchen, and filled the rest of the available space.
Because of the slope of the lawn and tight vehicle access into the property the marquee was constructed over two days. The flooring and structure build on the first day, and the interior spaces dressed on the second.
Marquees & Pavilions provided all of the structures, flooring, linings, lighting, heating and generator and electrical distribution.
The party planner was Ginny Loisel Events, who organised the dance floor, table centre pieces and furniture. She also arranged the a vodka luge and the digital paparazzi photographers.
The caterers were Cavendish Events.
